Irene Harris Talley, 91, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Universal Health Care in Oxford.
A native of Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Harris and Kate Stevenson Harris. She was a charter member of Delrayno Baptist Church and worked at Touch of Class in Oxford for many years.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Delrayno Baptist Church by Rev. D.L. Page. Burial will be held in Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford.
Surviving are a son, William G. Talley, III and wife Carolyn M. Talley of Oxford; a granddaughter, Lisa A. Mize; four grandsons, Gray and Daniel Talley and Keith and Larry Adcock; a step-granddaughter, Gwen McKay, ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gray Talley Jr., and a daughter, Linda Talley Whitt.
