Julie Ann Wagner , 45, of 901 W. Gordon Pike, Bloomington, a Kokomo resident until July of 2000, died at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at the Bedford Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 16, 1958, in Kokomo, the daughter of Larry F. and Judy (Zook) Cook. Julie was happily married for 24 years to her husband and best friend, Mark E. Wagner , whom she married September 29, 1979, at South Side Christian Church in Kokomo.
Julie graduated from Haworth High School in 1976 and later attended Indiana Business College and IU-K.
She was employed at Montgomery Ward in Maryland and was an assistant buyer for Big R Stores in Kokomo and an assistant manager for CVS Drug Store on Dixon Road in Kokomo.
Julie and Mark were members of the Family Worship Center in Kokomo. Julie was very creative and especially enjoyed crafts and cross stitch.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, Mark, of Bloomington, is her mother, Judy L. Cook of Kokomo; one sister, Cathy L. de Cifuentes of Kokomo; eleven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry F. Cook, and a brother, Larry T. Cook.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2003, at the Family Worship Center, 1149 E. Center Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor James Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mast-Hensler Cemetery in northeastern Howard County.
Friends may call at the Fenn & Shirley Mortuary, Colonial Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2003.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children, with envelopes available at the mortuary.
