ASHEVILLE – Oscar Lee Robinson, 66, of Woodfin, passed away on Sunday, October 19th, 2008.
Mr. Robinson was a native of Madison County and resided in Buncombe County. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Silver Line Plastics. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Zora McMahan Robinson and brother, Vaughn Robinson.
Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Eleanor Frisbee Robinson, daughter, Rhonda Lee Robinson Burrell and husband, David of Travelers Rest, SC; sons, Mark Anthony Hall of Texas, Eric Thomas Hall of Asheville and James Carlton Rose, III and wife, Beth of Weaverville; sisters, Faye Reid and Rose Mary Buckner; brothers, Cleve and Billy Joe Robinson; fourteen grandchildren, Darrell, Felicia, Cameron, Preston, Arica, Tianna, Tyson, Taylor, Zachary, Brooke, Jordan, Jossie, Tristan and Ian and a great grandson, Daryl.
Funeral Services will be held at 8 p.m., Tuesday in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., prior to the service.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday in Gabriel's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
