Cecil was listed in the 1950 US Census at 710 Bay St., Morehead City, Carteret Co., NC, with his aunt and uncle as: George W. Adams, head, 58; Nettie A. Adams, wife, 57; Clarence D. Adams, son, 26, Apprentice School, Marine Air Base: and Cecil L. Adams, nephew, 25; single, Apprentice School, Marine Air Base; all born in North Carolina.
They had two children:
