Hoover
Troy A. Hoover, 41 years old, of Newport, formerly of Chambersburg, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 as the result of an accident.
He was born June 19, 1967 and was with the New Bloomfield Fire Company and Ambulance League and was an EMS.
He was also a member of the following fire companies: Newport - Franklin County, Chambersburg - Green Castle - Company 75, Maugansville, MD.
He was a member of Life Team and was a volunteer with the Food Bank.
Surviving are his wife, Tonya Hoover of Chambersburg; children, Matthew and Kendra Hoover of Chambersburg; mother, Linda K. Hoover of Newport; father, James Nelson of Wisconsin; brother, Mac Hoover of Newport; and cousin, Cory Bollinger.
Services will be held Thursday from the Newport Assembly of God's Life Center, Shortcut Road, Newport, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Reverend Tony Hill will officiate. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery.
