Ransom Brunt - Last County Justice of Peace Was Insurance Agent, Developer - Temperance, Michigan - Ransom W. Brunt, 82, West Temperance Road, the last Monroe County justice of the peace, died yesterday. Mr. Brunt was the owner of the Auction Barn, here, and the Brunt Insurance Agency. Bedford Estates subdivision was developed by Mr. Brunt. He was the last Monroe County justice of the peace in 1967. Surviving are his wife, Leona; son, Donald; daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Eisenmann and sister, Mrs. Ruth Vance. Services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday at the Free Methodist Church, Temperance. The body will (be) at the Franham Mortuary after 7 P.M. tonight. The family requests that any tributes be in the form of contributions to the church."
