LOMBARD ADMITTED TO ASYLUM
George Lombard, for many years a resident of Kalamazoo, was admitted to Michigan asylum Friday afternoon from Dowagiac. Lombard who is 70 years old, is suffering from a suicidal mania. For the past two years he has been living with a family by the name of Showerman in Dowagiac. Several weeks ago he attempted suicide by cutting his throat with a razor and since that time has made several other unsuccessful attempts to take his own life. Lombard's home was in Kalamazoo up to two years ago. He was employed as an undertaker's assistant in this city for 23 years. Kalamazoo Evening Telegraph April 4, 1908 page 12
