Randall J. Jacobs, 56, of Plymouth, Wisconsin, died at his home, Tuesday afternoon, October 14, 2008, following an apparent heart attack.

Randy was born December 2, 1951 in Sheboygan to Clarence Jr. and Marcella (Heibel) Jacobs.

He attended Ss Cyril and Methodius School before graduating from North High School, Class of 1970.

He was employed at the former Gilson Mfg. Co. in Plymouth before beginning his career as a tool and die maker at Mercury Marine in Fond Du Lac, retiring in 2006.

Survivors include five sisters and a brother, Laurel(Mark) Meseck of Sheboygan, Mary(Kyle) Schell of Victorville, California, Jeanine(Kenneth) Housey of Sheboygan, Amy(Jack) Ploetz of Sheboygan, Marti(Dean) Mertes of Elkhart Lake and Christopher Jacobs of Sheboygan; nieces and nephews; and other family members also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 2:00 P.M. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Burial will follow in Greendale Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held Friday at Ballhorn Chapels from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
