Obituary
Miss Alice C. Robb
Miss Alice C. Robb passed away at her late home in Hartslog VAlley, Walker Township, on Sunday morning, 31 March, at 1:30 o'clock. Death was due to complications.
Miss Robb was a daughter of Livingston Robb and Mary A. (WIlson) Robb, both deceased and was born on the farm in Hartslog Valley where her entire life was spent. For about ten years she taught school in the valley. She was born 28 February 1856 and at the time of death was aged 78 years, 1 month and 3 days.
Surviving are three brothers and 1 sister, Miss Ella Robb and George Robb, at home; Irvin Robb of Philadelphia and William A. Robb of Ontario, California. A sister, Miss Belle Robb, died in January of this year.
Funeral services will be held at the late home in Hartslog valley on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Reverend H.T. Smith, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Alexandria, of which she was a consistent member. Interment in the Alexandria cemetery. The remains may be viewed in Brown's Funeral home in Huntingdon until Tuesday afternoon and then at the home until the funeral hour.
