RESSETAR Frances (Doviak), 83 of Clifton on October 19, 2008. Born in Wallington, she lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1954. A parishioner of St. John Kanty Roman Catholic Church, Clifton, Fran was a member of the Leisure Club, and the Golden Circle. Mrs. Ressetar, a Service Representative NJ Bell Telephone of Clifton for 33 years before retiring in 1977, was a Life Member of Telephone Pioneers of America, and a Life Member of the Communication Workers of America. Beloved wife of Metro. Devoted mother of Kathleen Brach and her husband Stanley of Allendale. Loving grandmother of Melissa, Rachael and Jessica. Dear sister of the late John, Joseph, Fred, and Stanley Doviak, Jennie Drzal, Emily Stefanco, and Sophie Caltagirone. Funeral...

CLIFTON — Services were held for Frances Doviak Ressetar, 83, of this city, who died on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008. Born in Wallington, Mrs. Ressetar lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1954. She was a parishioner of St. John Kanty R.C. Church, Clifton. Also, she was a member of the Leisure Club and the Golden Circle. She was a service representative for New Jersey Bell Telephone, Clifton, for 33 years before retiring in 1977. And, she was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and of the Communication Workers of America.
Services were at the Shook Funeral Home, Clifton, followed by Mass at St. John Kanty R.C. Church, Clifton. Entombment was at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. John Kanty Parish Center, 37 Speer Ave., Clifton, N.J. 07013 or to Care Alternatives Hospice, 70 Jackson Dr., Cranford, N.J. 07016.
Her husband, Metro; her daughter, Kathleen Branch, of Allendale; and three granddaughters survive Mrs. Ressetar.
She was predeceased by her brothers, John Doviak, Joseph Doviak, Fred Doviak, and Stanley Doviak; and her sisters, Jennie Drzal, Emily Stefanco, and Sophie Caltagirone.
