He enlisted in Nields Independent Battery on August 21, 1862 in Wilmington, Delaware for a 3 year term. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being 19 years old, 5' - 8" tall, fair complexion, hazel eyes, dark hair, a printer by trade, and residing in Wilmington, Delaware.
Enoch was "Killed In Action" during the war at the Battle of Cold Harbor.
He is interred in a group grave with 5 other Delaware Soldiers who also were "Killed In Action".
He was originally interred on the John's Farm in Virginia with the other five soldiers before later being re-interred here.
