Janelle Livingston Graham, 73, widow of Roy Graham, died April 11, 2008 at her residence. Born in Pomaria, Mrs. Graham was a daughter of the late Boyd and Virginia Long Livingston. She was retired from Damon International and Wal-Mart. Mrs. Graham was an active member of New Hope United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the church choir, the Senior "GO" group, and president of the U.M.W. She was a devoted wife for more than 50 years and a beloved mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Graham is survived by her children and their spouses, Debbie and Don Dennis, of Prosperity, Glenn and Cathy Graham, Angie and Bill Davis, David and Stephanie Graham and Doug Graham, all of Pomaria; grandchildren, Ashley and Chad Stockton, Gary Graham, Chad and Allie Davis, and Mason and Matthew Graham; her sisters, Christine Hendrix of Newberry, Dianne (Earl Jr.) Graham of Pomaria, and a brother, Jimmy Livingston of Pomaria. She was predeceased by sisters and brothers, Alfreida Hendrix, Lindsay Livingston, J. B. Livingston, Furman Livingston and Doris Corder.

Services were held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2008 at New Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Richard Goldie and Rev. Charlie Brookshire. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, 331 Holloway St., Pomaria, SC 29126; the Pomaria Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 192, Pomaria, SC or to the Newberry County Memorial Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 497, Newberry, SC 29108.

The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to Dr. Carroll Pinner and staff at Pinner clinic, Dr. Alan Paysinger and staff, Dr. Steven Madden and staff of Newberry County Memorial Hospital Chemotherapy Department.

Active pallbearers: Marty Livingston, Keith Hendrix, Stanley Livingston, Roger Graham, Joey Corder, Eddie Graham, Nelson Graham and Rodney Wicker. Honorary pallbearers: The United Methodist Women and the "Go" Group of New Hope United Methodist Church. McSwain-Evans Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
