JAMES A. BIRDSONG
James Aubrey Birdsong, 84, of 2030 Van Brunt, died yesterday at St. Mary's hospital. He was born in Clarksburg, Mo., and had lived here 20 years.
He was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist church. Mr. Birdsong was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Molly Birdsong of the home; three sons, John Birdsong, Brighton, Mich.; Robert Birdsong, 7401 Chestnut and George Birdsong, Perrysburg, O.; a stepson, Donald L. Bales, 3029 Van Brunt; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Morrow, Osceola, Ark.; a brother, J. Warren Birdsong, Clarksburg; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday at the church; burial in Mount Pleasant cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at the Earp chapel.
