William "Will" Thomas Eady/Eddy was the son of John Hugh and Nancy Ann Hargrove Eddy. John and Nancy were married in Monroe County, Mississippi in 1860. Both the Eddy and Hargrove family moved west from Lawrence County, Alabama. John Hugh Eddy's father, John Lloyd Eddy, ended up with land in Pulaski County, Arkansas. The Eddy family spelling changed to Eady in Arkansas. John Hugh Eddy was a MS Sharpshooter in the Civil War and died August 4, 1864 from wounds received July 28, 1864 in the Battle of Ezra Church near Atlanta. Nancy remarried Silas Meeks in 1870 - he was the brother in law of Nancy's sister, Rebecca Hargrove Meeks. Will has two half sisters, Mattie Arizona McMurrian (31123888) and Ella Meeks Parker (39728088).
