HEBER CITY – Elisha J. Cummings, 73, prominent Wasatch county resident, died at his home in Heber Wednesday morning of pneumonia, following an illness of two months.
He was a member of the first city council, on the county commission for 12 years, director of the Bank of Heber and county chairman of the Republican party organization for many years. He was president of the Heber City Exchange company for the last 10 years. He helped organize the Timpanogos Irrigation company and was president of the company at the time of his death.
Mayor H. Clay Cummings of Heber is a son. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 P.M. IN THE Wasatch stake tabernacle.
