HERMISTON - Flora E. Bell, 85, longtime resident of Hermiston died Wednesday July 25, 2007, at Hermiston Good Samaritan Center.
Disposition was by private cremation. At her request, there will be no funeral service. A private family burial will be held at Hermiston Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Bell was born Feb. 9, 1922, in Parma, Idaho, to Elmer and Edythe Swigert Prosser.
She worked as a computer programmer at the Umatilla Army Depot for many years.
She was a member of the Emblem Club, Red Hat Club and a volunteer at Good Shepherd Medical Center. She was a avid golfer.
Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bell, this year.
She is survived by son, Ronald and wife Darlene Bell of Juliaetta, Idaho; and brother Bud Prosser of Pilot Rock; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
