Alton Evening Telegraph, Alton, Illinois- 25 Feb 1926- Page 10. -- Death again visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kappler, when their little son, George Laverne, was called to be with his sister, Helen, who only a week ago was taken from them. Both children had scarlet fever and pneumonia developed. Mr. and Mrs. Kappler has the sympathy of the community in the loss of their children.
