DELIA - Alfred E. Bennett,97, Delia, died Sunday at his home north of here. He was born March 12, 1875 at Soldier and spent his life in Jackson County. He was a retired farmer.
His wife, Mrs. Sylvia Bennett, died in 1963. Survivors include 3 daughters, Mrs. Mary Patrick, Holton, Mrs. Anna Corbit, Kansas City, and Frances Bennett, Holton; 3 sons, Henry Bennett, at home, Paul Bennett, Franklin, NC, and Frank Bennett, Holton; 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at Mercer funeral Home at Holton with burial in Olive Hill Cemetery west of Holton.
