Funeral services for Bernard R. Wilkinson, 51, of Tulsa, Okla., a former resident of Marion County, were held Saturday at the Burns Chapel in Yellville with burial in the Peel Cemetery, Rev. Dale Barnett officiated. A carpenter, Mr. Wilkinson died Sept. 9 in Tulsa. He was born Nov. 23, 1924, in Peel the son of Frank and Nora Riddle Wilkinson. He had resided in Tulsa for the past 20 years. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Nolene Gibson of Tulsa; a son, Ronnie Wilkinson of Tulsa; three sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Bernice) Wingate of Farmington, Mrs. Oval (Emma) Wingate of Rt. 1, Yellville, and Mrs. Deb (Imogene) Yocham of Rt. 1, Yellville; and his mother, Nora Wilkinson of Rt. 1, Yellville. Pallbearers were Marvin Wingate, Oval Wingate, Danny Wingate, Gale Wingate, Randy Wingate, and Wayne Gartman. The Burns Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
