In Memoriam: Major A.T. Rose Sr., an old resident, died Friday last at his residence 3 miles north of Waco, aged 66. Funeral today from the residence; burial in the cemetery at Bosqueville. He was born near Columbus, Georgia in 1819. Came to McLennan county in 1853. Had a family of 4 sons: Jo. A., John K, A. T., and James; and one daughter, the wife of Bart Moore. All survive; also a widow.
