FINAL HONORS TO BE AWARDED HEROES OF WAR

The bodies of 29 Texans killed in France while serving with the American Expeditionary Forces, arrived in San Antonio Thursday night at 7:30 o'clock over the Missouri, Kansas, & Texas railway. The train was met by representatives of the American Legion and other patriotic societies, who draped the caskets with flowers.

Private Leander Hoglund

Funeral services for Private Leander Hoglund, son of Leander Mathias Hoglund, 630 East Commerce street, will be held Monday afternoon[, Oct. 17, 1921,] at 3 o'clock from the chapel of the Shelley Undertaking Company. Interment will be at the National cemetery with full military honors by the American Legion.

Private Hoglund was a member of Company C, 315 Ammunition Train. He was killed in action November 8, 1918, when 24 years old. Besides his father, he is survived by two brothers, Hugo and Paul Hogland, and three sisters, Misses Enerdale and Dagmar of San Antonio and Mrs. W. D.
