Funeral services for William Houston Pierce, 84, of Carthage, were held Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Hawthorn Funeral Chapel with Dr. Newsome Tiller and the Rev. C. T. Wallace officiating.
Burial followed in the Camp Ground Cemetery.
Mr. Pierce, a retired farmer and rancher, died Friday, Oct. 18, in Carthage.
Survivors include his widow, Mr. Aleph McFaddin [sic McFadden] Pierce of Carthage; one daughter, Mrs. Faye Reed of Carthage; and one granddaughter, Geraldine Reed of Carthage.
