OKOLONA - Nathan Marquis Hodges, 26, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at his home. He was born March 8, 1980, to Rita Hodges and Larry Chandler. He was a 1999 graduate of Aberdeen High School. He was a former employee of Southern Foods and Davis International. He was a football fan, a movie collector and a fixer-upper.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Aberdeen High School gym with the Rev. Robert Parks officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Williams Memorial Funeral Home of Okolona is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Hodges of Okolona; his mother, Rita Hodges of Aberdeen; his father and stepmother, Larry and Linda Chandler of Aberdeen; two daughters, Racquel Braylock and Jasmine Braylock, both of Okolona; two sons, Tarekee Braylock and Cameron Braylock, both of Okolona; two sisters, Tawanda Johnson (Von) and Nicole Hodges, both of Aberdeen; five brothers, Robert Hodges, Nicholas Hodges, Jacoby Carruth and Larry Chandler Jr., all of Aberdeen, and Antonio Marble of Prairie; his grandmothers, Vernell "Sis" Hodges and Madgie Chandler, both of Aberdeen; his mother- and father-in-law, Nettie and James Box of Okolona.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday. The body will be placed in the gym one hour before service time Sunday.
