Richard F. Boonsta, was born February 8, 1961 in Morrison, IL, the son of Thomas and Eleanor (Eads) Boonstra.
He graduated from Prophetstown High School in 1979. After graduation he went to work for Volkman's Furniture, Division of Ethan Allen, in Morrison, IL where he was currently employed.
Survivors include his parents, of Lyndon, IL; 2 sisters, Mrs. James (Diana) DeNeve of Port Byron and Mrs. Matthew (Ellen) Littrel of Erie; 1 brother, James of Morrison; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded by one sister, Sandra Swanson.
Mr. Boonstra died as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Moline Road, west of Lyndon.
Services were held at the former Lyndon Congregational Church with burial in Lyndon Cemetery.
