"Word has been received of the death of Louis Eldon Wyckoff, former St Joseph resident. Mr. Wyckoff, 35, reportedly suffered a heart attack at his home in McQueen, Texas. He was a resident of St Joseph until 1947.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Wyckoff, and a small son, both of the home; two daughters by a previous marriage, Miss Louise Wyckoff and Miss Thelma Wyckoff, both of St Joseph; his father, Carl Wyckoff of St Joseph; his mother, Mrs. Flora Wyckoff of Bozeman, Mont.; a brother, Lowell Wyckoff of St Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Flotella McKnight of Grand Junction, Colo., and Mrs. Alvina Broman of Bozeman, Mont.

Services will be held in Seguin, Texas, Monday morning at 10. The body will be taken to San Antonio, Texas, for military services and burial." St Joseph News-Press, July 20, 1957
