Graveside service for Betty Jo Pinkerton, 76, of Carrollton will be Sunday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. at Slidell Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Coker Funeral Home.
Pinkerton died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, in Carrollton.
Born April 22, 1928, in Rotan, she was a homemaker and a Baptist. She married James Alvin Pinkerton July 31, 1949, in Abilene.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Steve Pinkerton of San Antonio and Mike Pinkerton of Lewisville; a daughter, Karen Pinkerton of Carrollton; two sisters, Camilla Ashley of Bowie and Merle Zeller of Bedford, Pa., and one grandchild, Jana Pinkerton of San Antonio.
