Peggy Jean Rogers Diaz, 47, a resident of Gonzales, formerly of Temple, died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher, La. A second visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at First Lutheran Church in Temple. Burial will be in Moffat Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Ernest and Selma Tina Schmidt Zuehlke.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Diaz, of Gonzales; sons, Jeffery Rogers, of Gonzales, Chance Diaz and his wife, Melissa, and Kenny Diaz and his wife, Brandi, all of Houston, and Beau Diaz and his wife, Danielle, of California; daughter, Jamie Rogers, of Gatesville; brothers, Robert Zuehlke and his wife, Betty, of Austin, Harvey Zuehlke and his wife, Frances, Joe Zuehlke and his wife, Diane, and Roy Zuehlke and his wife, Joy, all of Moody, and Marvin Zuehlke and his wife, Terry, of Virginia; and sister, Kathryn Warren and her husband, Dan, of Garland, Texas; other relatives and many friends.
