Mrs. Lonell F. Clark passed away October 9, 2008 at her home in Colorado Springs. She was born July 1, 1923 to Ernest and Maryann Hill of Rice, Colorado.

Lonell graduated from Miami High School in Rice where she excelled in basketball. She later moved to Colorado Springs where she met her husband Mr. Verle G. Clark; they were married in 1946.

Verle passed away in January of 2002. Mrs. Clark is survived by her two sons, Gary Clark and his wife JoAnn of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Mark Clark and his fiancíŸarsha McMillan of Colorado Springs, and her sister Alliemae Lawlis of Pueblo and her two granddaughters, Lona Clark Shew and Suzann Robins and three great grandchildren, Dru, Brittany and Colby.

A visitation will be held today, October 14, 2008 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

Services honoring Lonell's life will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m at Circle Drive Baptist Church, 801 N. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
