Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 1, 2010, Dixie Boylston Jowers, widow of Linnie Emmett Jowers. Residence, Folly Beach, SC.

The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in Folly Beach Baptist Church Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at one o'clock. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Monday between five and seven o'clock.

Mrs. Jowers was born February 16, 1921, in Salley, SC, the daughter of Lloyd Boylston and Minnie Kitchings Boylston.

She was a charter member of Folly Beach Baptist Church.

She is survived by four daughters; Dixie Cowen of Kiawah Island, Pam Brown of Mt. Pleasant, Deborah Ashman of Mt. Pleasant and Mona Stines of Mableton, GA; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Folly Beach Baptist Church, 77 Center Street, Folly Beach, SC 29439.
