She was born January 8, 1922, in Gibson County to Benton and Anna M. (Townsley) Hunt.
She graduated from Mackey High School in 1939, and graduated from Albuquerque School of Business in Albuquerque, N.M. She worked at Evansville Ammunition Plant during World War II and retired after 19 years of service as director of accounting at Mu Alph Symphonia in 1986.
She also served on the Somerville Town Board for 20 years where she was secretary treasurer.
Surviving are a daughter, Eleanor Louise Buck of Somerville; a son, Mark Alan Tooley of Somerville; and a cousin, Lucille Corn.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2002, at Somerville Cemetery. Friends will gather at the cemetery for the services. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements
