Mr. Vaughan was a member of Living Stone Worship Center and was a retired carpenter.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Nellie Loyd Vaughan; two daughters, Elaine Clary and Charlene Vaughan; three sons, Thomas Russell, Johnnie Russell and Lonnie Vaughan; three sisters, Annie Pearl Vaughan, Mary Ann Hart and Betty Raeford; and two brothers, J.W. Vaughan and Lawrence Vaughan.
