Jenny Lou Little died on Sept 19, 2008 at Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on September 23, 1932 in Nugent, Texas to Lee Adolphus Johnson and Mary Penelope Hodges Johnson. She attended high school in Lovington, NM until she had her two most prized treasures: daughter Peggy and son Tommy. Jenny was married to Lloyd W. Little or "Pops" for forty-one years. They lived in Hobbs, NM, Phoenix AZ and Albuquerque, NM before moving to Odessa in 2004. When Jenny lived in Hobbs, she owned and operated Jenny Lou's Golden Spur Lounge, the premier night spot in Southeastern NM. She never met a stranger, which was instrumental in her professional success as a real estate broker in Albuquerque, NM where she was one of the most sought out Re/Max realtors. She called selling real estate the "dream of a lifetime." She worked all of her life and instilled that same work ethic in her two children. Jenny loved to play bridge, or at least she loved to "bid" when playing bridge. She was an avid golfer, a great dancer and she made "World Famous" fried chicken. She leaves behind a lot of fun memories from a several state area.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister Mary Nell Miller, her sister Betty Sue Randles, and her brother Charles Sonny Johnson, as well as "Prada the wonder dog" and a host of lifetime friends, all of whom were waiting for her with open arms on Friday.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd, her daughter Peggy J Dean and son-in-law Ken, her son Thomas W. Powell (the family acknowledged "favorite") and his wife Peggy, her granddaughter Sara Kate Billingsley, and her little dog Missy, all of Odessa, Texas. She is also survived by two step grandchildren Jason Dean and Jadie Moore of Dallas, Texas; a very special niece Deanna Johnson of Washington; brother and sister-in-laws Frances Miller of Gig Harbor, Washington, Bobbie and Earl Lewis Little of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, Donald and Louisa Little of Honey Grove, Texas, Jim and Darlene Little of Tacoma, Washington, Kenneth and Colett Little and Gloria Howard all of Tucson, Arizona.

Memorial services will be officiated by Rev. Bob Sams at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4901 Maple, Odessa, Texas, on her birthday Tuesday, September 23 at 10:00 AM. The family invites friends for visitation on Monday night at 7:00 PM at 80 Shiloh, Odessa, Texas. Jenny was particularly concerned about hunger in this world. The family asks that memorials be considered for West Texas Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, or a local charity of your choice. A special thank you to Patty, Liz and Jamison in the Critical Care Unit at Medical Center Hospital.
