Married Agnes Price in Virginia; Moved to North Carolina, Caswell County, in 1780 or 81; then moved to Cross Plains and died there at the age of 110; is buried in "Carr" Burial Ground, one and one-half miles north of Cross Plains in the 15th Civil District; son of John Yates.
