Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the F. D. Sweet & Son Chapel in Orland for Howard Odell, 93, of Orland. He died Nov. 19, 1997 at Enloe Hospital.
He was born Oct. 5, 1904 in Waukomis, Oklahoma to George and Belle Odell. He married Bessie Compton Aug. 27, 1932 in Webb City, MO.
An Orland resident for the past 61 years, he was plant manager for Bell Carter Foods in Orland until his retirement.
He was a member of Modern Woodmen.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie of Orland, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A daughter, Carol Jacobson, preceeded him in death in 1983.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
