Mildred E. OVERMYER, 90, formerly of 14393 Indiana 10, Argos, died at 5:30 a.m. today at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, where she had lived for six years.
She was born in Culver to Alex and Mary GREEN DINSMORE. She was two years old when her mother died, and she was reared in the home of Ora and Carrie PRICE. She was a lifetime resident of Argos. On Feb. 11, 1922 in Argos she married Raymond OVERMYER, who died March 17, 1957. She was a member of the Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, west of Argos.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Kathryn) BLOCKER, Argos six grandchildren, Carol LEWALLEN, Plymouth; Dianne ROBINSON, Alan BLOCKER, Brent BLOCKER and Fonda BLOCKER, all of Argos, and Estel BLOCKER, Culver; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death were a son, Darold [OVERMYER], on Nov. 28, 1991, and two brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with the Rev. Keith SMITLEY officviating. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday. Memorials
