Doris Helen Chandler was born July 24, 1922, in Gainesville, daughter of the late Allie Boyd Phillips and Bessie Inez Morrison Phillips, and had been a resident of Fort Worth since 1941.
She was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church and the Peacemaker Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an older brother; four sisters; and her husband of 60 years, James Hubert Chandler Sr.
Survivors: Son, James Hubert Chandler II; daughter, Michelle Ann Chandler Brown and her husband, David; grandchildren, Melissa and Bradley Brown; brother, Allan Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.
