Husband of Kate D. Nesbitt.

Father of Karen Virginia and David Michael Nesbitt.

Mr. Rudolph Hensoldt Nesbitt, 85, of McDonough, Ga. died May 2, 1004 at Southern Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Nesbitt was born in Fulton County the son of the late Lillie Grantham and Rudolph H. Nesbitt Sr.

He was a retired engineer for Sears Roebuck of Atlanta, served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and an aerial photographer and attended Georgia Tech before his military career.

He was known for being an avid reader, good listener, enjoying horses and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kate Duncan Nesbitt who died in 1998.

Survivors are his daughter, Karen Nesbitt; son, David Nesbitt of McDonough; grandchildren, Jeff Covington of San Diego and David R. Nesbitt of McDonough; sister, Rebecca Fincher of East Point and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Nesbitt will be Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael W. Wilson officiating. A private graveside service will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 at Fairview Memorial Park.
