JASON C. PICKERING, JR.
ST. IGNATIUS -- Jason Charles Pickering, Jr., infant son of Jason James Pickering, Sr. and Melody Plante, died on March 15, 2003, from natural causes. Born in Ronan on Jan. 13, 2003, he joined his family at home in St. Ignatius. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Jonathon Pickering. Survivors include his parents; siblings Skyler Rossbach (Arlee) and Donilyn and Carlee Rossbach (of the family home); paternal grandparents Nancy Estevez and step grandfather Angel Gallegos (Butte), and Jim Pickering (WA); maternal grandparents Francis and Vivian Plante (Arlee) and Virgelene and Joe Raya (Great Falls); great-grandmother Darlene Matt (St. Ignatius); and several uncles and aunts. A traditional wake was held at the Longhouse in St. Ignatius. Mass was celebrated on March 19 at the St. Ignatius Catholic Mission. Interment followed in the St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery.
