Gayle Anita Flowers Sanders was born on September 27, 1955 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She departed this life along with her aunt, Wanda Inman on January 26, 2004 near Seminole, Oklahoma.
Gayle was the daughter of James and Gayle Terrell Flowers. She was raised and educated in Shawnee. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1972. She married Ronnie Sanders on June 6, 2003. The couple resided in Tribbey, Oklahoma. She was a member of Wallace Avenue Baptist Church, and was employed by Tinker Federal Credit Union, in the Specialized Investments Department of Midwest City for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gayle Duy, grandparents, Sport and Thelma Terrell and James Levi and Emma Edmondson Flowers, one niece and one nephew.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Sanders of the home; one stepdaughter, Kimberly Adams; three grandsons, Sawyer, Conner and Parker; stepson and daughter in law, Billy and Lindsay Sanders; her father and stepmother, James and Dixie Flowers of Tecumseh; step father, Delbert Duy of Shawnee; two brothers and sisters in law, Bobby and Denise Flowers of Bethel, Johnny and Kim Flowers of Bethel; one sister, Cindy and Sam Howard of Shawnee; nieces and nephews, Christopher and Lauren, Kacey Flowers, April and Aaron Martin and Ashley Plunkett; numerous friends and co-workers.
She will be very loved and greatly missed by all of those whose lives she had touched.
Services are set for Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Gaskill Funeral Chapel, burial will follow at Garden Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Gaskill Funeral Chapel.
