She was born in South Bend, Ind., and grew up in Salem, where she lived for many years. She moved to Newport in the 1960s and to San Diego in the 1980s. She was active in Pentacle Theatre in Salem and enjoyed painting and writing.
Survivors include her daughters, Dolora Zajic of Reno, Nev., and Rebecca Laguna of Las Vegas, Nev.; sons, Alan Zajic of Zephyr Cove, Nev., Frank Bacon III of Reno and Joseph Bacon of Oregon; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements were by Bayview Crematorium in San Diego.
