Obituary: "Mary Schell, wife of Sanford Schell died on Monday night, Jan. 8th, of heart disease, at her home about two miles from Gallupville in the town of Wright. Mrs. Schell was a daughter of the late Edward Marshall, and was born in the village of Gallupville. About 58 years ago she was united in marriage to Sanford Schell. She was a woman of excellent character and of a kind and loving disposition. In her home she was a splendid wife and mother and in the community she was a noble Christian woman. She had been a member of the M. E. church for many years. She is survived by her husband and four sons, Omer, Albert, Daniel and LeGrand, of Wright and one sister, Mrs. Miles B. Hunting. Funeral services were held at her late home on Thursday at 2 p. m., Rev. J. B. Zweiziz officiating. Interment made in the Gallupville Union cemetery."
