He was born in Howard County, Aug. 31, 1905. He married Veda Myers Sept. 19, 1925; she survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Nelda Rude, Peru, Jean Miller, and Waneta Mast, both of Kokomo; a son, Robert Daniels, California; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A brother and two grandchildren are deceased.
A retired farmer and custodian at Maconaquah High School, Mr. Roth was co-owner of Roth Violet shop, Peru. He was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church, Greentown Masonic Lodge, and was past patron of the Greentown Eastern Star.
Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, with the Rev. Stephen Holdzkum officiating. Burial is in Mast Cemetery, Howard County. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
