WINGATE, March 12 -- Mrs. Thomas J. Perry died at an early hour this morning at her home here.

She was the daughter of the late DeBerry Austin and was born in Union county September 21, 1852.

She is survived by six children, Mrs. R. L. Womble, J. J. Perry and Miss Fronie Perry all of Wingate, L. D. Perry of Chattanooga Tenn., Mrs. Y. H. Allen of Peachland and W. C. Perry of Norfolk, Va. Funeral services will be held at Wingate Baptist church Tuesday, March 13, at 2 o'clock.
