Deceased Name: Barbara Irby
Barbara Ann Irby, a member of St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church on St. Stephens Road, died Friday a local hospital. She was 54.
Irby was a native of Prichard and a resident of Mobile. She was a retired certified public accountant.
Survivors include her husband, George Irby of Mobile; one son, Lindsey Irby of Houston; three brothers, John Darrington, Charles Darrington and Michael Bracy, all of Atlanta; two sisters, Yolanda Dinkins of Mobile and Mildred Welch of Eight Mile.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Church of God Pentecostal on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Cemetery in Theodore.
Arrangements are being made by Gilmer's Funeral Home on Zeigler Circle West.
