He was born Alexander Bright Skinner in Bebe, Gonzalez County, TX and was usually known as Alec or A.B. About 1920, he married Iva Mae Rogers (1902-1929) of Llano County. When Iva Mae died, Alec had three daughters aged 7, 5, and 4. In 1934, Alec married Mrs. Fore (nee Alma Mary Hoch 1889-1967). After Alec's death, Alma married W.C. Chandler.
