The Richfield Reaper December 13 1934
Charles C. Jensen, 65, died at his home at Elsinore Sunday. Mr. Jensen's health had not been good for several years, and for sixteen days be had been confined to his bed.
He was born December 3, 1869, at Mt. Pleasant, the son of James C. and Matilda Smith Jensen, and with his parents came to Elsinore among the earliest settlers. He engaged in farming and stock rais-ing. He was a prominent citizen having served as a member of the town council several years ago. He was for years a member of the band under leadership of Chas. J. Engar.
On January 9, 1891, he married miss Sena Hansen of Elsinore in the Manti temple. Surviving are his widow; two sons, and three daughters—Eldred and Cleve Jensen, Mrs. Lillian Gunn, Mrs. Ada Bell and Miss Alice Jensen of Elsinore; two brothers Chris. C. Jensen of Provo and Thomas C. Jensen; two sisters, Mrs. Stena Hansen and Mrs, Almira Gibbs of Elsinore, and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the EIsinore chapel, under the direction of the ward bishopric.
Interment was in the Elsinore cemetery.

Funeral Services for Charles C. Jensen were held December 12 in the ward chapel, with W.W. Sylvester of the bishopric officiating.
Appropriate musical numbers were sung by a quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. D.N. Oldroyd, Mrs. Minnie Sylvester and H.J. Kotter, with Mrs. Helen Christensen as accompanist. Miss Thelma Bell and Mrs. Mina Hensher sang a duet; Hayes Gunn played a violin selection; a solo was sung by Mrs. Sylvester, and a duet by Mr. and Mrs. Oldroyd. Mrs. Jetta Marquardson and Mrs. Hensher assisted as accompanists.
Speakers were D.P. Jensen of Richfield, H.J. Kotter and Bishop Leon T. Madsen. The invocation was by Patriarch J. I. Jensen, and the closing prayer by Wendell N. Anderson of Richfield.
Interment was in the Elsinore cemetery. F.D. Gunn dedicated the grave.
Pallbearers were V.F. Bradley, Aril Hansen, Othello Sorenson, Lavell and Omery Hanson
