Charles C. Jensen Dies at Home in Elsinore

Charles C. Jensen, 65, died at his home at Elsinore Sunday. Mr. Jensen's health had not been good for several years, and for sixteen days he had been confined to his bed.

He was born December 3, 1869, at Mt. Pleasant, the son of James C. and Matilda Smith Jensen, and with his parents came to Elsinore among the earliest settlers. He engaged in farming and stock raising. He was a prominent citizen, having served as a member of the town council several years ago. He was for years a member of the band under leadership of Chas. J. Engar.

On January 9, 1891, he married Miss Sena Hansen of Elsinore in the Manti temple. Surviving are his widow; two sons, and three daughters--Eldred and Cleve Jensen, Mrs. Lillian Gunn, Mrs. Ada Bell and Miss Alice Jensen of Elsinore; two brothers, Chris. C. Jensen of Provo and Thomas C. Jensen; two sisters, Mrs. Stena Hansen and Mrs Almira Gibbs of Elsinore, and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in the Elsinore Ward Chapel, under the direction of the ward bishopric. Interment was in the Elsinore Cemetery.
