Christopher Douglas Youngblood, 11, of Bourbonnais, died Tuesday (Feb. 25, 1997) at his home, following a lengthy illness.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton, and from 12:30 p.m. Thursday until the 1:30 p.m. services at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Kankakee. The Rev. Jim Schouweiler will officiate.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Chebanse.

Memorials may be made to the Christopher Youngblood Memorial Fund.

He was born June 8, 1985 in Fort Myers, Fla., the son of James F. and Kimberly Emberton Youngblood III.

He had been a fourth grade student at Bridgman Elementary School, Bridgman, Mich.

Surviving are his mother, Kimberly Nicholson of Bourbonnais; one sister and one brother at home, Kyna Youngblood and Kayden Nicholson; maternal grandparents, Jim and Diana Kamp of Kankakee and Joe Emberton of Florida; paternal grandparents, Jim and Rose Youngblood of Florida; maternal great-grandparents, Gene and Colleen Morrison of Missouri; paternal great-grandmother, Eileen Youngblood of Florida; and several aunts and uncles.
