Retired in 1976 as a supervisor for the Colorado Interstate Gas company, he was a native of Applegate, Ill. and a Fritch resident for 58 years.
He was a veteran of WWII in Navy Seabees and a member of the BPOE.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Alexander in 1953, his mother, Cora Alexander in 1985 and a brother, Ernest Alexander in 1983 and a brother, Story Alexander in WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Wilmetta Alexander of the home; a son, Richard L. Alexander of Houston; a brother, Donald J. Alexander of Victoria; three grandsons.
Funeral services are pending with Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
