She was a daughter of Augustin C. "Jess" and Louise (Phlipot) Monnin. Her first husband, Stephen J. Bruns, died Aug. 28, 1976, and her second husband, Louis "Jiggs" Alexander, died June 6, 1995.
Surviving are two sons, Edgar (Carole), Russia, and Tony (Linda), Versailles; a daughter, Marilyn (James) Cullen, Tipp City; two stepsons, John (Joan), Cassella, and Kenneth (Cindy), Fort Loramie; two stepdaughters, Jeanne (Gene) Bruns, Maria Stein, and Joyce Mason, Centerville; a sister, Sylvia Schulte, Piqua; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a stepdaughter, Sharon Mescher; five brothers, Thomas, Hilary, Paul, Earl and Fred Monnin; and two sisters, Mary Monnin and Mercedes Magoteaux.
She worked at Westinghouse in Union City, Ind., for 23 years and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, Osgood.
Funeral Mass is at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating.
