Oscar Pike, 80, Macksville, died Feb. 4 1984 at St. John Hospital, St. John, after a long illness.
Born Dec 6, 1903, at Partridge, he married Trellabelle McKinney Dec. 11, 1929 at Greensburg. He was a retired farmer and had been a Macksville and Hopewell area resident for 54 years.
He was a member of Pleasant Plain Friends Church, Byers.
Survivors: widow, of the home; brothers, Alva, Kingman; R.A., Arlington; sisters, Josephine Giles, Partridge; Belle Giles, Pratt; Mary Sims, Canyon, Texas; Alvessie Baty, Independence; five grandchildren; three great grand-children.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Macksville; the Revs. Francis McKinney, Eugene Slack. Burial at Hopewell Cemetery. Memorials to Friends Bible College, Haviland, or Parkinson Treatment Center, St. John Hospital, Joplin, Mo.
